Terms and Conditions

These terms form the contract between The Ski Lodge (“the hotel”) and the guest or the person making the booking (“the guest”). They apply to all reservations, whatever the booking channel.

The specific conditions of the rate or offer booked (for example cancellation and payment terms) are shown during the booking process and in your confirmation. They take precedence over these general terms.

The version of these terms published on this website at the time of your booking applies.

You can book online through our booking engine, by email or by phone. A reservation becomes binding once the hotel has confirmed it in writing (by email).

The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old. They are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and for the payment of the entire stay, including for the other guests on the reservation.

Group bookings and hotel buy-outs are subject to specific conditions, available on request.

Rates are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) per room and per night, VAT included. The tourist tax is charged in addition, per person and per night, according to the rates in force in the municipality.

Some services are charged in addition, for example:

• Underground parking: CHF 40.- per night per car, subject to availability.
• Dogs: CHF 30.- per night per pet.
• Early check-in and late check-out, on request and subject to availability.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee your booking. Depending on the rate, a deposit or full prepayment may be charged at the time of booking. Any remaining balance and extras are payable no later than departure.

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the season and the rate booked. They are shown before you confirm your booking and in your reservation confirmation.

Any cancellation or change must be made in writing (by email) or through the link in your confirmation. Date changes are subject to availability and may change the price.

If you do not arrive and have not cancelled (no-show), or if you leave early, the hotel may charge the amounts set out in the conditions of your rate.

We recommend taking out travel insurance that covers cancellation costs.

Rooms are available from 3 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 pm (noon) on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested, subject to availability and for a fee.

At check-in, each guest must present a valid identity document, as required by law for guest registration. A credit card may be requested as a guarantee for extras.

Children are welcome at The Ski Lodge and must be accompanied by an adult. Some rooms have bunk beds, best suited to children aged 12 and over. Extra beds are not available; baby cots are available on request. Families travelling with younger children can book an additional room or connecting rooms.

Dogs are welcome in the rooms only, for CHF 30.- per night per pet, and must be mentioned when booking. They are not allowed in the spa or the fitness area. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour and for any damage it causes.

The Ski Lodge is open seasonally: in winter from December to April and in summer from June to September.

Access to the spa is included for hotel guests, with some hours reserved for adults. Treatments, as well as tables at the restaurant and the bar, should be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Parking spaces and electric vehicle charging points are limited and must be booked.

The hotel may temporarily close or limit some facilities, in particular for maintenance, safety or seasonal reasons. We will inform you as early as possible of any significant change affecting your stay.

Guests are asked to respect the house rules of the hotel, the peace of other guests and the equipment provided.

The guest is liable for any damage caused by themselves, the people accompanying them or their pets. The hotel may charge repair or cleaning costs beyond normal use.

The hotel may end the stay of a guest who seriously disturbs the peace or safety of others or seriously breaches these terms.

The hotel’s liability for guests’ belongings is governed by articles 487 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations. Money, jewellery and other valuables should be kept in the safe available in all rooms and suites.

To the extent permitted by law, the hotel is not liable for indirect damage or for damage resulting from slight negligence. The hotel is not liable for services provided by third parties that you book directly or through our concierge, such as transfers, ski schools, rentals or activities; the conditions of these providers apply.

Neither the hotel nor the guest is liable for failing to fulfil their obligations due to events beyond their control, such as natural events, avalanches, road or railway closures, pandemics or decisions of the authorities. In such cases, the parties will seek a fair solution together, such as postponing the stay.

The content of this website (texts, photos, logos and design) belongs to The Ski Lodge or its partners and is protected by copyright. Any reproduction requires our prior written consent.

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee it. Photos are for illustration purposes: rooms of the same category may differ in layout and decoration. The applicable prices and availability are those shown in the booking engine.

This website contains links to third-party websites, over which we have no control and for which we accept no responsibility.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

These terms and all contracts with the hotel are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the hotel, subject to mandatory legal provisions, in particular those protecting consumers.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
